Dr. Barham Sr. was a Division I football player with one goal: the NFL. Then a catastrophic lower back injury changed everything.

Five herniated discs left him with debilitating leg pain and a grim prognosis from two orthopedic surgeons: get spinal surgery immediately, or risk being unable to walk properly by age 30. He refused to accept that future. Instead, he found a chiropractor who corrected the root cause of his pain entirely.

That experience didn’t just save his career; it became the cornerstone of a legacy. In 1990, Dr. Barham took over a historic chiropractic practice on Arden Way (founded in 1948), establishing a standard of care that has served Sacramento for over 35 years.

That standard of care is built on analysis, not guessing. By using precise X-ray analysis and biomechanics, we identify the exact source of discomfort — just like the chiropractor who treated Dr. Barham after his injury.

Since taking over the clinic, Dr. Barham Sr. hasn’t just treated thousands of patients; he’s refined his methods and even developed his own chiropractic techniques to master the most complex spinal cases.
