Can a chiropractor fix sciatica?
Absolutely. Science proves that Chiropractic care helps Sciatica.
In the study:
A double-blind experiment was conducted on 64 men and 38 women with moderate-to-intense sciatic pain.
One group received actual spinal adjustments, while the control group received simulated adjustments. At the end of the period, those who received chiropractic care had fewer days with pain and fewer days with moderate-to-severe pain. Others became totally pain-free.
This study proved that chiropractic care for sciatica provides a measurable advantage.
What causes a sciatica flare-up?
According to Mayo clinic, sciatica most often occurs when a herniated disk or an overgrowth of bone puts pressure on part of the nerve. This causes inflammation, pain and often some numbness in the affected leg. If you are interested in learning more about pressure on the nerves, consider checking out our article on PINCHED NERVES.
