How do you find the right chiropractor for you?

When looking for a chiropractor there are three main factors to consider.

Our intention with this blog is to equip you with the knowledge you need to make the best decision for you.

Frankly, we are aware that, we are not going to be able to help everyone in the world through chiropractic care. However, we certainly hope that everyone who needs chiropractic care gets the best care they can and gets healthy again.

Below we are going to discuss the three main factors to consider and what questions to ask to ascertain if a chiropractic office is a good fit for you.

Chiropractic Office Checklist

There are three major factors to consider when choosing a chiropractic practice. Are they a reputable establishment? Are they a good culture fit? (Do I like them?) Do they correct underlying issues? (or treat symptoms)

If the chiropractic office demonstrates that they are trustworthy, that they can correct your problems, and that they share values with you, then they are probably the right chiropractor for you. Below are some questions to help you ascertain whether the office is right for you.

Are They a Reputable, Established Practice

  1. How long have you been in business?

  2. How many different chiropractors work at this office?

  3. Do they have many reviews or testimonials? (written reviews can be bought, video reviews are better)

  4. How do they deal with negative reviews or testimonials?

Are they a good culture fit?

  1. What are their values?

  2. Do you like the way they engage with you?

  3. Do you like them?

  4. Are they honest and transparent when communicating?

Do They Treat the Root of the Problem (Instead of Symptoms)

  1. Do they provide relief care or corrective care?

  2. Do they take X-rays and perform other assessments before care?

  3. Do they specialize in one area over others?

  4. Do they have a track record of long-term results?

Barham Chiropractic

We think our answers to those questions are pretty good.

We are a family practice and have been open for over 30 years.

We have three excellent chiropractors who each have their unique specialties. (If you want to learn more about them, check out our about page)

We have an entire page dedicated to video testimonials, that we are updating regularly with success stories.

We communicate with unsatisfied reviews with as much grace and care as possible and strive to resolve legitimate issues as soon as possible.

We value communicating with candor, heeding small details, building relationships, inspiring patients, striving for excellence, and being intentionally thoughtful.

We try to make patients feel at home.

We go out of our way to get to know you, not just to understand your care needs, but to make sure Barham Chiropractic feels more like visiting family than visiting a doctor.

We strive to communicate with kind candor, at all times. (especially when it is hard)

We provide corrective care. (see testimonials)

We provide X-rays and other diagnostic assessments.

We specialize in several different areas because we have several doctors with several different specialties.

We celebrate the successes of our patients. (some publicly on our testimonials page)

I hope this small checklist is useful in finding the right chiropractor for you.

It is very likely that if you are on this page it is because you are experiencing a difficult health situation and you need chiropractic care.

So on behalf of Barham Chiropractic, we sincerely wish you get well soon. (or stay well if you are well)
